More than a place to live

Live smarter:

From group study sessions, to Living-Learning Communities where you’ll live with others who share your major, residence life gives you the tools you need to succeed.

Did you know that students who live on campus have higher GPAs?

Instagram ready:

Grab some friends and take advantage of unique events held in each of our 14 residence halls – Kerr Hall has “Kerr”aoke Nights, Victory Hall offers free group workouts, and West Hall’s Tacky Prom draws a big crowd.

Friendly competition:

Gear up for volleyball at Clark, kickball at West, lobby basketball at Mozart or help your hall win the annual Battle of the Halls.

Gourmet Hamburger

At UNT, the choices are plentiful and the quality is exceptional, whether you’re chowing down at one of our five residence hall cafeterias or grabbing some Chick fil-A in the University Union.

Something for everyone:

Mean Greens Café was the first all-vegan university dining hall in the nation and each cafeteria offers a vegetarian line, but we also have plenty of options for carnivores, including hand-carved beef in Bruce Hall.

Sweet tooth approved:

Cookies, pies, muffins, bagels and desserts are created fresh daily in the Clark Hall Bakery and we even have our own brand of homemade ice cream.

A quick bite done right:

Burger King, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Jamba Juice, Taco Bueno and Which Wich are just a few of your options in the University Union, or you can grab a coffee from the largest Starbucks in the area.
